Headshot Photography Agreement
By scheduling a session with Hector Cavazos Headshot Photography ("Photographer"), the client agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Sessions
Sessions are offered on weekdays and weekends based on availability. Session length, number of final images, and scope of work are defined at the time of booking or by written agreement.
Group headshot sessions for businesses or organizations are available. Group size, setup, and scheduling details will be agreed upon in advance.
Discounts & Custom Arrangements
Volume or group arrangements may be available for businesses or organizations booking multiple sessions. Any customized terms must be agreed to in writing prior to the session.
Travel
Travel is included within a specified local service area. Travel beyond this area may require additional arrangements and will be disclosed in advance.
Late Arrivals
Sessions will not be extended for late arrivals. If the client is more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session may be canceled.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Clients may reschedule or cancel with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Payment
A valid credit card is required to secure a booking. Payment is due at the time of the session or by the invoice due date, if invoiced. Late payments may be subject to additional fees.
Retouching & Delivery
Proof images will be made available after the session. Final retouched images are typically delivered within:
2-3 business days for individual sessions
3-5 business days for group sessions
Additional retouching beyond standard edits may be available upon request.
Usage License & Copyright
The client receives a non-exclusive license to use the images for professional and business purposes. Images may not be altered in a misleading manner or resold. The Photographer retains full copyright to all images.
SMS / Text Messaging Policy
By providing a mobile phone number, the client consents to receive text messages from Hector Cavazos Headshot Photography related to their session. These messages may include appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, delivery notifications, and follow-up communication.
Message frequency varies based on client interaction. Message and data rates may apply.
Clients may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, clients may reply HELP or contact the Photographer directly. Opting out of SMS messages may limit timely communication regarding appointments or delivery.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Liability & Indemnification
The Photographer's liability for any claims, damages, or losses related to the session is limited to the amount paid by the client. The Photographer is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Photographer from any claims arising from the client's actions or the actions of third parties during the session.
If a session cannot be completed due to illness, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond the Photographer's control, the Photographer's responsibility is limited to rescheduling the session or providing a refund.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Fresno County, California. The prevailing party in any legal action may recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs.
By booking a session, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
